I've tried a few Meidheal masks, such as the Collagen and the N.M.F. Aquaring and a few others. So far, this is my favourite! My skin is dry and I feel it is always dehydrated so finding a mask that can quickly add moisture to my skin has been challenging. I love the Mediheal masks for their thick cushion-y silk fabric, The rich essence absorbs into my skin perfectly and the essence is not to thick or thin. I don't get that gooey or tacky feeling with some sheet masks dry out but the essence just sort of sits your skin.
My skin is softer and plump the next day and I wish it would last for a while but considering this mask is $1.50 each, I can't really expect too much.
I usually leave the mask on my skin for about 15-20 minutes and I use this once a week (I think i'm going to start using this more frequently). I know they always recommend to take off the mask and to rub in the essence into your skin, but I always wash my face afterwards. I feel that if I don't wash off the remainder, my skin always breaks out and washing it off my skin has helped me a lot. I'll add a tiny bit of moisturizer after cleansing my skin so that my skin is thoroughly hydrated.
The scent is not too strong as some other masks. I'm still not sure how I feel with having placenta on my face but this is an imitation completely synthetic so that is reassuring.
I am in the process of trying out some other masks (my poor skin!). So far, this is my fav and I love this mask more than the My Beauty Diary masks I've recommended before.
It's a MUST try!
