I don't follow Jaclyn Hill on YouTube (I think i may be the only one out there!) but I do love Becca Cosmetics' Highlighters (hello, Opal!). I noticed this huge hype on Instagram regarding this highlighter and I knew I had to go try it out. I was lucky enough to try this out at Sephora during the pre-release and it is sooooo gorgeous. Sephora describes it as "a soft white, gold shade with pinky peach undertones—this creamy luminizer leaves the skin with a soft pearlized glow. It’s infused with light-reflecting pearls that beautifully catch the light, allowing your favorite features to pop. Just apply to targeted areas, or simply sweep it up on the cheekbones and down the bridge of the nose for quick, radiant perfection."
It is supposed to be flattering for all skin tones and while I was a little skeptical at first, given that I am the most palest person on earth! But, after wearing it on my skin, it is so flattering and I always receive compliments on how glowy and healthy my skin looks. It has a creamy texture in the pan but once you apply the highlighter, it changes to a powdery texture (Becca consumers know what i'm talking about).
Basically you need Champagne pop in your life! It's a buildable highligher; depending on how strong you want it to be. I just checked Sephora's website and it's out of stock but I do know they keep re-stocking it or you could get lucky and just ask one of the rep's that work in Sephora and get it in store.
The highligher is a limited edition shade so it won't be around forever so stock up if you have to! If you are sorta stuck in the middle and don't know whether to buy it or not; here's some advice.....BUY IT! it's a great addition to your collection and because it is limited edition you don't want to miss out on this!
Here's some swatches I found online; some of the pics compare Champagne pop to other Becca highlighters while some compare it to other highligher brands:
